We are excited to invite you to "Festikaf" - the Israeli spoon carving festival

In Moshav Herut at 09:00.
The entrance fee to Festikaf is 70 NIS and includes coffee, cake and carving in the open carving circle.

Festival itinerary

Throughout the Festival, there will be workshops, some for beginners and some for the experienced. Sharpening workshops, enhanced design, decoration and more. The participation cost is 50 NIS per single workshop, to be paid directly to the workshop teacher (prepare cash).

During the festival it will be possible to purchase and sell your own handmade goods.

Participants should bring their personal carving tools, long pants, and closed shoes. During the festival there will be a stand for printing your own T-shirt (10 NIS) so bring one if you’d like to print one of your own.

Festikaf is intended for ages 16 and over. Due to the unique nature of the event (axes, knives, etc.), we ask you not to come with young children nor pets.

If you plan on spending the night, the facilities include a place to pitch a tent, a bathroom and a shower.
There is a general store in the village - two minute walk; a large supermarket in the nearest town (a 30 minute walk). We have an outdoor kitchen for communal use and power sockets (European).
